Festival season isn’t over yet! This Friday, April 29th, the American Lung Association will host its 21st Annual Las Olas Wine and Food Festival. I’m stunned this is the festival’s 21st year — but MY first! I’m looking forward to seeing the fresh new look of the festival this year, and especially excited to sip and savor my way through an area I very rarely get the chance to visit — Las Olas Boulevard.

Presented by Breakthru Beverage, New Amsterdam Vodka, and William Hill Winery, this year’s Las Olas Wine & Food festival will feature five blocks of sips and samples from nationally recognized wineries and top restaurants throughout South Florida. The American Lung Association has a few tricks up their sleeves for this year’s event. They’ve teamed up with CI Management, creators of the South Beach Seafood Festival, Chef Showdown, and producers of the South of Spice, to create quite the evening for those attending. Guests can expect live music, culinary and mixology demonstrations, cooking competitions, private VIP lounges and make-your-own cocktail experiences, interactive retail displays, and more.

I don’t know about you, but I’m already hungry just thinking about it! Aside from being able to sample bites from the above-mentioned restaurants, there will be over 200 wines from all over the world available to taste. So much eating and drinking and having fun all in the name of supporting a great cause. The American Lung Association’s mission is to fight against the third leading cause of death in the United States, and any support for this event will assist in funding research and educational programming for the association.
