Disclosure: I was invited to attend Delray Beach Fashion Week as a guest of the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA). No monetary compensation has been received for this post. As always, all opinions are 100% my own. Photos courtesy of the DDA.
Delray Beach Fashion Week returns for its sixth year with a 007-inspired theme of “Fashion Never Dies” from January 23 through the 27th, featuring runway shows, a fashion luncheon, an in-store shopping event, and tons of in-store promotions throughout Downtown Delray Beach.
Our little beach town, rich in art and culture, allows business owners to flourish due to our community’s seemingly endless mission to support local in all aspects — food and beverage, clothing and accessories, hair, makeup and skin treatments, and the like. It’s no wonder the Downtown Development Authority, along with various Downtown merchants, banded together to create a week full of events that give local residents and visitors a unique and fun opportunity to experience all the fashion and beauty that can be found right here in town.
Delray Fashion Week events will take place in various locations throughout the downtown area. While two of the runway fashion shows are free and open-to-the-public to stand and watch, guests can purchase VIP passes and reserved seating tickets with 100% of the proceeds going to the Achievement Centers for Children and Families. There are a limited number of $150 VIP passes available, so get ’em while you can! These passes include a reserved seat at all runways shows and the luncheon, a One Year VIP membership to the new iPIC Theater opening in Delray Beach this spring, a VIP lanyard, entry to VIP receptions and a special edition of the 2019 Fashion Week Amanda Perna SWAG Bag. Runway show reserved seat tickets and other event tickets range from $25-$50. To purchase, visit the Delray Beach Fashion Week website.
There is a Chance-to-Win Downtown Delray Beach Package valued at $500 which also benefits the Achievement Centers for Children & Families. With each VIP pass or reserved seating ticket purchase, you will receive one Chance-to-Win. Additional Chances-to-Win will be available at each runway show for $5 per chance or $10 for three chances.
