Presented by the Community Classroom Project (CCP) and Space of Mind (SOM), the annual Delray Beach event, Pub at the Hub, is back with an ’80s-themed bash on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 from 7-10 pm.
The event, dubbed ‘Back To Our Future’ will be held at The Hub at Space of Mind, located at 101 NW 1st Avenue, next to DADA in Downtown Delray Beach. While there are plenty of events in Delray Beach, this one is unlike anything you’ve attended before!
Previous attendees have described Pub at the Hub as ‘the party of the year’ and ‘like going to a house party with all of your friends.’ It’s definitely one of those things to do in Delray Beach that you want to be a part of.
Don’t risk the dreaded FOMO — get your tickets now!
What to Expect at Delray Beach Event, Pub at the Hub
Once you step into The Hub, you’ll be transported straight into the ’80s. There will even be a DeLorean on-site for photo ops!
Fort Lauderdale-based jam band, The Heavy Pets, will perform a tribute to the ’80s. Between sets, DJ Johnny Quest will keep the vibes going strong. Guests are encouraged to wear their best’ 80s-inspired outfits and dance the night away!
The Hub at Space of Mind will be decorated with themed rooms, and there will be interactive entertainment, an art sale featuring works from professional and student artists, a mystery auction, and plenty of ’80s pop culture and memorabilia. ’80s babies are sure to feel extra nostalgic!
Local South Florida chefs will serve ’80s-inspired bites, and a Golden Goat Caviar cart will be on-site for guests to indulge in. You’ll also be able to grab a bag of classic ’80s candies like Nerds, Fun Dip, and Pop Rocks to go. The drinks will be flowing at this Delray Beach event, especially the Orange Julius signature cocktails! Also available will be Florida-made aperitif Munyon’s Paw Paw — the brand’s signature Palm Beach Spritz is always a hit.
Last year, the theme was ‘Party Gras’ and The Hub will filled with New Orleans-style fun, food, music, and art. Over 200 people were there and it was nothing short of a seriously great night out. I hope you’ll join me for one of the absolute best Delray Beach downtown events of the season!

Get to Know the Organizations Hosting Delray Beach Event, Pub at the Hub.
Pub at the Hub is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Community Classroom Project, a 501c3 non-profit started by Space of Mind with a goal to rethink education and reduce school-related stress. CCP bridges the gap between students, parents, educators, schools, mental health providers, and the community, providing experiential learning, educational resources, entrepreneurship opportunities, and scholarships.
Within the CCP is another initiative, the Community Classroom Kitchen (CCK). Its mission is to enhance mental and physical health for families in South Florida through the art of cooking and communal dining.
The CCK finished building a commercial kitchen project in early 2024. This led to the launch of a calendar of amazing cooking classes led by Chef Deb or other local guest chefs, and chef’s table dinners featuring some of the area’s best in the business. But just you wait… there is much more to come.
“CCK is committed to gathering families and neighbors together around a healthy dinner table. That starts with training a culinary workforce that is passionate and equipped for health and success. Inspiring young adults to become food entrepreneurs is what we do. By connecting chefs and culinary experts with those who are eager to learn, we are able to co-create the future of the vital industry.” For more information on the Community Classroom Kitchen, click here.
The Hub at Space of Mind is exactly what its name suggests: it is truly a “hub” for Delray events. Funded in part by CCP, The Hub is a multifaceted space in Delray Beach. It is home to CCP’s headquarters, but it’s also a resource center, art studio, entrepreneurship incubator, commissary kitchen, community theater, and music recording studio. The possibilities are endless for what can be created within The Hub!
The Hub also offers community programming and meeting spaces for local businesses and organizations, as well as event rentals. Whether you want to host a yoga class, networking event, holiday soiree, birthday party, or team lunch, this is the spot to do it! If you’ve been looking for a place to hold your Delray Beach activities, The Hub offers a ton of flexibility.
Here is a little background on Space of Mind, in case you aren’t familiar: Launched in 2004, Space of Mind was founded by Delray Beach local, Ali Kaufman, as a private coaching company. In 2011, SOM moved into the historic Clarke House (circa 1896) in Downtown Delray Beach and it has since evolved into a dynamic social homeschool program offering flexible education solutions for students and families.
As you can see, there is a lot going on within Space of Mind, the Community Classroom Project, the Community Classroom Kitchen, and The Hub at Space of Mind. Visit the Space of Mind website to learn more and see how you can donate and get involved.
