Not only are the happy hour specials popular, but Avalon has earned a reputation for being a hot spot for late night fun. Don’t miss the back bar, where you’ll find a speakeasy-style lounge with disco lights and DJ entertainment until 2am. Dancing encouraged! One of the happy hour highlights is definitely the elevated version of Pigs in a Blanket on the snack menu.

The menu features over 10 different kinds of mussel preparations, including options like chowder, French onion and lobster bisque. Mussels are imported daily from Prince Edward Island, and many other seafood items are sourced locally. While the bulk of the menu is from the sea, there are plenty of other options as well. My advice? Definitely take advantage of the mussel pot discount during happy hour.

About: Coming from the award-winning Rapoport’s Restaurant Group, Deck 84 has been a go-to restaurant on Atlantic Avenue since 2010. It’s situated right on the Intracoastal, with beautiful waterfront views and dock space allowing boaters to dock and dine. The menu offers something for everyone —there’s a sushi menu, kids menu, dog-friendly menu, and even an option to bring your freshly caught fish for the chef to cook for you (must be filleted, deboned, and skinned, if desired). Customer favorites from the happy hour menu include the All American cheeseburger and smoked fish dip.

It has become a go-to neighborhood spot for West Delray locals with its cozy setting, spacious outdoor patio, and contemporary American fare. Burt & Max’s is kid friendly, with a special menu for children 12 and under. The restaurant is also very dog friendly, offering a doggie diner menu for your fur-babies. It’s one of the few places that has happy hour all day, every day for drinks, all year. Popular bar bites include the double smash burger, spinach dip and buffalo wings.
