There are no better places to go for downtown Boca shopping than these two plazas. Keep reading to find out where!
There are three major activities associated with Boca Raton: going the beach, dining out at restaurants, and of course, shopping. Whether you’re looking for a new outfit, a gift, or simply want to spend an afternoon strolling through one of South Florida’s most beautiful shopping districts, Downtown Boca has plenty to offer.
Mizner Park and Royal Palm Place do a great job at combining upscale national retailers with locally owned boutiques and including shops with varied price points so everyone can find something within their budget.
The best part? These plazas are also home to coffee shops, restaurants, and entertainment, so it’s easy to turn any downtown Boca shopping trip into a full outing.
Explore Mizner Park
Mizner Park is probably one of the most iconic places in Boca Raton.
While it’s known for having great restaurants and places to go for happy hour in Boca Raton, it’s so much more than dining. Shopping the Mizner Park stores is the next best thing! But there is also an iPic movie theater, bowling, spas, fitness studios, and more. The Mizner Park Amphitheater hosts several concerts, festivals and events throughout the year, and The Studio at Mizner Park is a performing arts center with its own lineup of entertainment. The Boca Raton Museum of Art is also located right next to the amphitheater and the gift shop inside is a fabulous stop for shopping in Boca Raton.
No downtown Boca shopping trip is complete without a walk through Mizner Park. You’ll fall in love with its charm: Mediterranean-inspired architecture, palm tree-lined walkways, fountains and gazebos… It is truly one of the most picturesque shopping destinations you’ll ever visit.

Here are a few shops worth checking out:
Tommy Bahama
Tommy Bahama has become one of my favorite places to shop over the last few years. I’m obsessed with all the linen and own quite a few pieces. The brand captures the South Florida lifestyle perfectly with its resort-inspired clothing, accessories, and home décor that’s ideal for both locals and visitors.
Sugarboo & Co.
If you’re looking for a unique gift or home décor, Sugarboo & Co. is a must. Candles, wall art, stationary, coffee table books, home accents… Walk into this store and I guarantee you will find things you never knew you needed. It’s the perfect place to find something special for yourself or someone else.
Sur La Table
Sur La Table is the place to go for all things cooking! You’ll find everything you need including cookware, kitchen gadgets, bakeware, and entertaining essentials. Plus, cooking classes are available.
RH Outlet
RH Outlet is one of the newest places to open in Mizner. Find discounted furniture, lighting, rugs, décor, and home accessories from Restoration Hardware’s signature collections. If you’ve been dreaming of adding a little luxury to your home without paying full price, the RH Outlet is worth a visit.
Bluemercury
Skincare and beauty lovers, this is the stop for you. Restock your favorite products and discover new brands. Bluemercury carries a selection of luxury skincare, makeup, haircare, and wellness products. Complimentary consultations are also available so you can learn makeup application tricks, skincare routine recommendations and more.
Explore Royal Palm Place
Royal Palm Place is just a short walk from Mizner Park. It’s also known for its restaurant scene, but there is also a fantastic selection of boutiques, salons, and specialty shops. It’s a different vibe than Mizner; a little quieter, no big community events or amphitheater festivals, and there’s actually a larger selection of shops and dining options.
While Mizner Park has well-known shops like Tommy Bahama and RH Outlet, Royal Palm Place is where you’ll find smaller higher-end boutiques like Belle Cose Boutique, Walter Baker, and Deborah James. There’s also a private, appointment-only bridal salon, Carte Blanche Bridal, and quite a few luxury jewelers.
If you’d like to include a little self-care during your downtown Boca shopping excursion, there is no shortage of Boca Raton salons in Royal Palm Place. You’ll find everything from hair and nails to facials and massages, waxing, acupuncture, body contouring treatments, brow services and more.
Downtown Boca Shopping Tips

These plazas have a lot to offer when it comes to Boca Raton shopping. Since they are so close to one another, why not visit both on the same day? Here are a few tips to make it a great day out in Downtown Boca!
- Start early. Visit these shops in Boca Raton on weekday mornings for the lightest crowds.
- Don’t shop on an empty stomach. Start the morning with a coffee and bite at Subculture Coffee or a refreshing juice or smoothie at Pure Green, both in Mizner Park. Over in Royal Palm Place, there is no excuse not to sit down for breakfast. There are a lot of options, but my picks would be Another Broken Egg or Greens & Grains.
- Dress comfortably. If you’re going to be trying on clothing, it’s always best to wear something loose and comfortable. Comfortable shoes are important too, especially if you plan to walk from Mizner Park to Royal Palm Place or vice versa.
- Check for events. Make sure to check out the City of Boca Raton’s website or Downtown Boca website before your visit. You just might be walking into a seasonal market, art festival, or one of the many other community events in Boca Raton FL happening throughout the year.
- Parking tips: Mizner Park has four free parking garages (3 hour parking). It’s easy to find parking in the garages, but they may be full if there is a big event going on. Royal Palm Place has complimentary parking lots throughout the plaza, but get there early to snag a space because they fill up quickly. Free public parking is also offered at City Hall and the Downtown Boca Library, both are just a short walk away from each plaza. Metered street parking is also available throughout downtown via ParkMobile.
It’s easy to spend the day shopping in Downtown Boca, supporting the local businesses, and enjoying the beautiful scenery both of these plazas have to offer. Whether you’re updating your wardrobe, searching for the perfect gift, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll through Mizner Park and Royal Palm Place, there’s always something new to discover.
