I made these low-fat, low-calorie Cinnamon Oatmeal Banana cookies, adapted from a recipe on the blog, Skinnytaste. The original recipe is a Oatmeal Banana Nut cookie, using chopped walnuts, but I opted to forgo on the nuts for an even lower fat and lower calorie version of the cookie. I also used rolled oats instead of quick oats, and I think they really enhanced the flavor and texture of the cookie. Instead of the gritty taste you can sometimes get from instant oatmeal, the rolled oats offered bigger pieces of oatmeal in every bite. They came out moist and fluffy and absolutely delicious! 🙂
These cookies would be a great addition to any breakfast or brunch spread, or as an after-school snack or dessert. Whether you’re looking for a healthy treat to satisfy your sweet tooth, or just something delicious and satisfying to eat, these Cinnamon Oatmeal Banana cookies are sure to please! So if you’re a food lover like me, be sure to give this recipe a try today.
