Your Seat Awaits at These Boynton Beach Restaurants
The Butcher and the Bar

Part butcher shop, part gastropub, The Butcher and the Bar is all about bringing farm-to-table flavor to the table. Whether you’re picking up quality cuts to cook at home or sitting down for craft cocktails and elevated pub fare, this spot nails the balance between local, fresh, and downright delicious.
It’s easily one of my go-to restaurants in Boynton Beach. Everything is scratch-made, with a menu that shines a spotlight on high-quality ingredients from local producers. The offerings change daily, with chef-driven sandwiches at lunch, and creative small plates made for sharing at dinner. To top it off, the beverage program features inventive cocktails, a curated wine list, and a strong lineup of craft beers with an emphasis on Florida breweries.
Of course, the butcher shop itself is just as much of a draw as the restaurant. Here you’ll find regionally sourced meats and poultry, from beef and pork to chicken and specialty cuts on request. They also craft a variety of fresh and smoked sausages, hot dogs, and charcuterie, plus house-pickled items, artisanal cheeses, and a retail section stocked with local boutique products like sauces, rubs, and honey.
At its core, The Butcher & The Bar is about community: sourcing local whenever possible, supporting nearby farmers and makers, and ensuring guests get the freshest, most flavorful ingredients around.

Driftwood
Since opening its doors in 2017, Driftwood Boynton Beach has become a true neighborhood gem — and one of my personal favorites. There’s just something special about grabbing a seat at the bar, sipping on one of mixologist Matthew Swig’s perfectly crafted cocktails, and digging into the delicious creations that come out of the Driftwood kitchen. My go-to dish? The sweet and sour cauliflower. It’s gluten-free, vegan, and so addicting that I have to order it any time I’m there.
Chef and owner Jimmy Everett, a Lake Worth native, has built Driftwood on a foundation of community and connection. He’s deeply committed to supporting fellow South Florida chefs, farmers, and purveyors, and you can taste that local love in every bite.
The Driftwood team nails it on all fronts, from warm hospitality to top-notch service. It’s the kind of place where you can pop in for a fun tiki cocktail with friends or settle in for a cozy, elevated date night. The menu is a thoughtful showcase of farm-to-table dishes featuring fresh ingredients from local farms and even their own on-site garden. And those cocktails? Honestly, they’re just as much of a draw as the food.
It’s no exaggeration to say that Driftwood serves some of the very best food in Boynton Beach.

Hurricane Alley
Hurricane Alley is the kind of place where locals gather for no-frills, fresh-from-the-sea goodness. When it comes to the best casual restaurants in Boynton Beach, this is it. The menu is stacked with raw bar favorites, sandwiches, salads, and Florida staples like conch fritters and smoked fish dip, all served in a lively, laid-back setting that gives off Florida Keys vibes.
Flip-flops are welcome, the seafood is always fresh, and the vibe is as easygoing as it gets. One standout not to miss? The Costa Rican Burger, which snagged the #6 spot on South Florida Insider’s list of the Top 20 Burgers in Palm Beach County. Whether you’re slurping oysters, sipping an ice-cold beer, or cheering on your team at the bar, Hurricane Alley delivers that quintessential South Florida experience that keeps regulars (and first-timers) coming back for more.

Nicholson Muir
If you’re in the mood for elevated dining in Boynton Beach, Nicholson Muir delivers. This premium steakhouse was even recommended in the MICHELIN Guide 2025. Hopefully a star is in its future!
Nicholson Muir blends refined flavors with exquisite presentation, offering high quality meats and a wine list that complements every dish. One of the standout experiences here is their curated Omakase, which is a multi-course tasting that showcases Chef James Muir’s commitment to high-quality ingredients and culinary precision. Start “small” with the 9 course option, or go all out with the full 15-course experience.
Nicholson Muir is located in the 1940s Ruth Jones Cottage, which is a historic relocated property in Boynton. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet inviting — and don’t let those white tablecloths fool you. This place definitely has a vibe. It’s much more lively than I would have imagined. Everything from the decor to the service, and of course the food, make for a very memorable and enjoyable night out.

Paloma Mexican Restaurant
For bold, vibrant flavors with a touch of flair, Paloma brings authentic Mexican cuisine right to the heart of Boynton Beach. From sizzling fajitas and fresh tacos to classic traditional plates, every dish bursts with color, spice, and personality, exactly the way Mexican food should be.
The menu is designed for sharing, which is perfect because everything sounds so good you’ll want to try it all. Order a few plates for the table and taste your way through Paloma’s delicious variety. Don’t miss their signature house-made sauces. You can even get a flight to sample them all: tangy tamarindo, green ajillo, smoky chipotle, and mint honey glaze.
Beyond the food, Paloma nails the atmosphere. The chic, bohemian décor sets the tone the moment you walk in, while live music and Mariachi nights add that extra layer of festive, authentic Mexico vibes. And now, Paloma has kicked off a lively Sunday brunch, complete with bottomless drinks — the perfect way to wrap up the weekend.

ROK Prime Korean BBQ
ROK Prime Korean BBQ is bringing the heat (literally) to Boynton Beach. This is one of the new restaurants in Boynton Beach, serving up authentic Korean BBQ with an interactive twist. Each table is outfitted with its own grill, giving guests the chance to cook premium cuts of meat like filet mignon, galbi, and ribeye just the way they like them. Every meal comes with a generous spread of traditional side dishes, known as banchan, making for a truly authentic Korean dining experience.
The drinks menu steps outside the usual red and white wine list, offering special sweet Korean varietals instead. You’ll also find hot sake, flavored soju, Korean beers, plus familiar options like Corona and Heineken for those who prefer something classic.
Lunch is offered on weekdays, with takeout available daily for both lunch and dinner. Keep in mind, though, that all takeout meats are fully cooked, so if you want the full, hands-on Korean BBQ experience, dining in is the way to go.

Sushi Jo
When the craving for fresh, flavorful sushi hits, Sushi Jo is one of Boynton Beach’s go-to spots, and for good reason. The menu is packed with creative specialties, from sashimi pizza and pork shumai to eye-catching sushi boats and inventive signature rolls that are just as fun to look at as they are to eat. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and bursting with personality. The Boynton location may be small, but trust me, the menu is mighty!
Behind Sushi Jo is Chef Joseph Clark, whose passion for sushi and Thai cuisine began when he was just 13 years old. He spent a decade apprenticing at Yama Asian Cuisine in Lake Worth before honing his craft under world-renowned chef Kiyonari Yamamoto Hiroshima. That experience shaped his culinary style and inspired the bold, imaginative menu that makes Sushi Jo such a local favorite.
