This creamy, indulgent Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cheesecake Dip is a low-calorie treat perfect for the holiday season.
Dips are probably my number one favorite party food. Put a bowl full of guacamole, spinach dip, hummus, salsa, WHATEVER, in front of me and I promise you I won’t leave the table. But what about sweet dips? Dessert dips… now that’s something I haven’t experimented with. Of course, I’m hugely late to the game because dessert dips have been all over Pinterest forever and I have about 50 thousand of them pinned to my Sweet Dips and Frostings board.
Cheesecake is thick and creamy, much like a lot of dips, so it only seems natural to make it into one. And with Florida finally dropping down in temperature and feeling like fall, a little holiday spirit has come over me and I want to use the two spices that remind me of this time of year most — cinnamon and nutmeg! Brown sugar is a natural choice for the sweetener here, and I kept things light and friendly with fat free cream cheese and fat free whipped topping. Add a little vanilla extract for even more fall flavor, and maybe a bit of Stevia if you feel as though it isn’t sweet enough. We’re making a lighter option for that jam-packed dessert table!
There are so many things you can serve with this Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cheesecake Dip — strawberries, banana, apples, pretzels, graham crackers, vanilla wafers… But my vessel of choice? Brownie Brittle! These crispy, chocolatey pieces of heaven are only 120 calories and 4 grams of fat per serving, so it totally goes along with our “light dessert” option. Plus, Brownie Brittle is super yummy on its own — just imagine how much better it’d be covered in Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cheesecake Dip?
Yeah, I know. I just blew your mind.
