Pretend for just one moment that you really don’t care about a bikini-bod and all you want to do is eat dessert. Because, let’s be real — we all love dessert, especially during the summer when those temperatures are soaring. A frozen treat like this Frozen Candy Bar Milkshake is just what you need to help bring on the Funshine! You can Share the Funshine everyday this summer. When you use the hashtag #sharefunshinesweeps on social media, you’ll be entered to win a $100 gift card to Walmart! I’ll show you how to enter in a bit, but first….Frozen Candy Bar Milkshakes!

The key components to a milkshake are ice cream and milk blended together. I always use my trusty Ninja Pro Blender when I make smoothies or milkshakes, but a good immersion blender will work just as well. So, that’s just the basics…but come on — you’re talking to a food blogger here. We don’t do basic. Instead of using traditional ice cream, why not switch it up and use ice cream BARS — specifically Snickers® Ice Cream Bars. Cool, creamy peanut butter ice cream and ooey gooey caramel all coated in chocolate… Is there drool on your computer yet? I’ll give you a sec to wipe it up…

Better? Ok, good. You know what else would be perfect with all that peanut buttery, caramel, chocolatey deliciousness? PEANUT M&M’s®! I’m just bursting with good ideas today. You can thank me later, after you’ve inhaled a Frozen Candy Bar Milkshake, and find your sweet tooth super satisfied from all the salty-sweetness going on.

You’ll totally want that $100 Walmart gift card to go out and buy Snickers® Ice Cream Bars and Peanut M&M’s® to make this milkshake like I did. Then after you’ve made, devoured and fell in love with these particular ingredients, make a whole new Frozen Candy Bar Milkshake with M&M’s® Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches and some plain M&M’s®. I’ll go out on a limb and say that either way you go, you’ll be pretty content. These ingredients are super easy to find in the Ice Cream and Chocolate Candy Aisles.

Aside from whipping up tasty treats in the summertime, I like to #ShareFunshine by hosting friends and family over for a little food and fun! One things I always have out for my guests is a cute little spread of colorful candies to nosh on while we catch up. I’m hopelessly addicted to M&M’s® so you know there’s going to be tons of those — both plain and peanut M&M’s® are always a win. I also like to balance it out with something on the fruitier are — Skittles® or Lifesavers® Hard Candy are both great ideas. All four of these candies can easily be found at Walmart in the candy aisle!
