I made the cookie dough crust using my super easy, go-to chocolate chip cookie cake recipe that Bubby passed down to me, topped it with the brownie mixture and let ‘er go. Chocolate chip cookie meets Brownie meets my mouth and makes for one very happy person. Wouldn’t you agree on this equation?

- For the cookie dough crust
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup ap flour
- For brownie:
- 1 box Immaculate Brownie Scratch Baking Mix
- 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- To make the cookie dough crust, cream together cream together butter and brown sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer.
- Add vanilla extract and egg.
- Add flour and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Spread cookie dough evenly in the pan and set aside in the refrigerator.
- In a large bowl, add the brownie mix, butter and eggs and mix until combined.
- Pour brownie batter over the chilled cookie dough.
- Bake for 30 minutes for until a toothpick comes out clean.
