Celebrating its ninth year, Flavors returns to The Addison on Thursday, February 1st for what promises to be a delicious event with more restaurant participation than ever before.

The Junior League of Boca Raton, Flavors 2018

Flavors is known as one of Boca Raton’s premier food events, and it is definitely one of my personal favorites. I love supporting the Junior League of Boca Raton and all of their events, especially when there’s good eats and drinks involved! Guests get to indulge in bites from some of the area’s most celebrated chefs and restaurants, sip on wine and cocktails and enjoy live entertainment, all while supporting the Junior League and its mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve our community. This year’s event is chaired by Karli Vazquez-Mendez, and the honorary chairs are Thom & Joyce DeVita and  Al & Joni Goldberg.

The Head Chef for Flavors 2018 is The Addison’s Executive Chef Patrick Duffy. In addition, over 30 restaurants have committed their time to participate in the evening’s festivities, including Kapow Noodle Bar, New York Prime, Chops Lobster Bar, Oceans 234, Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar, Tanzy, Junior’s, Avant, M.E.A.T., Eatery and Taproom, Tilted Kilt, EaThai, Rocco’s Tacos, Rocksteady Jamaican Bistro, Biergarten, La Ferme, Bolay, localgreens and The Rebel House. The theme will be “Around the World,” as various cuisine and beverages are highlighted from different continents. Think along the lines of having Epcot right here in Boca Raton. There were so many amazing dishes last year, and I can’t wait to see what this year’s chefs and restaurants will be serving. To say I’m excited is a total understatement!

The wine will be flowing, and cocktails will be in abundance, thanks to Rebecca Creek Distillery as the liquor sponsor. There will also be a live auction, a live demo from Fred Astaire dance studio, and a mini runway show put on by Saks Fifth Avenue highlighting spring 2018 fashion.

VIP tickets have sold out, but there is still a limited amount of General Admission tickets for $85 per person. Tickets include all food tastings and open bar. Flavors WILL sell out, so best to get your tickets now before they’re gone!
