My South Florida Bride Guide for Wellness Before the Wedding

guide for brides, south florida brides, bride guide

Brides-to-be in South Florida, I’m so excited to share my 2026 Bride Guide for my top wellness picks before your wedding.

It’s official, I’m a 2026 bride! After a year and a half of being engaged, Roger and I have officially stepped into full-on wedding planning mode, and it is definitely a whirlwind. Choosing our wedding venue ended up being easier than expected once we made one big decision. We originally thought we’d do a destination wedding, but ultimately agreed that staying home was the better choice. So Delray Beach it is.

Now we’re in the thick of it. Budgeting, researching vendors, requesting quotes, and sorting through the list of tiny details, all while keeping up with our day-to-day work and real-life responsibilities. As much as there are a million decisions the bride and groom have to make for the big day, I’ve made a conscious choice that my personal wellness is non-negotiable. Every bride deserves to feel confident and radiant when she walks down the aisle, and that glow starts long before the wedding day.

Here’s a look at what I’m focusing on in the months leading up to our December 2026 wedding. I hope this bride guide inspires other South Florida brides to prioritize themselves and feel their absolute best heading into one of the most special days of their lives.

South Florida Bride Guide: Who I’m Trusting With My Bridal Glow

Dedicated Dental Group

Feel confident in your smile. It will be with you throughout the entire day!

Photographs are one of the most important parts of your wedding day. They’re what you get to hold onto long after the party has ended. There’s nothing worse than looking back at your photos and feeling self-conscious, especially about your smile.

The good news? A confident smile is absolutely achievable with the right team. I started Invisalign® treatment with Dedicated Dental Group in December, and I’ve been so happy with the care I’ve received from Dr. Michelle Nudel, DDS, and Dr. Tatyana Nudel, DMD. I had braces when I was younger, but I was never given a retainer afterward, so my teeth have shifted over time. They’re not bad by any means, but there were a few teeth that moved in a way that always caught my eye in photos, even if no one else noticed.

As I go through treatment ahead of the wedding, I feel good knowing I’m investing in something that will make a lasting difference. By the time December rolls around, I’m confident I’ll be able to look at our wedding photos and truly love what I see from every angle.

Dedicated Dental Group not only specializes in general dentistry and things like Invisalign, but they also offer cosmetic dentistry options to ensure that you truly reach your healthy smile goals.

Have you been curious about Invisalign®, but the price tag makes you think twice? I get it. Dedicated Dental Group is offering an exclusive deal for Take A Bite Out of Boca followers: full Invisalign treatment, a set of retainers, and teeth whitening for $4,888 (regularly $5,988). And yes, this South Florida dentist does offer wellness plans to help make treatments more wallet-friendly.

To redeem this deal, send them a direct message on Instagram with the phrase ‘takeabite.’

Where to find Dedicated Dental Group: 7321 North State Road 7 in Parkland.

Simply Posh Aesthetics

Plan your injectable and laser hair removal treatments about 10-12 months in advance.

Smooth skin is another non-negotiable for me when it comes to feeling confident in front of the camera. For me, that includes being proactive about injectables.

One of my top beauty priorities leading up to wedding festivities is softening my crow’s feet. Those lines around your eyes that show up when you smile? Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. Mine have become much more noticeable as I hit my late 30s.

I started to see Hillary Julius, PA-C, MMS, owner of Simply Posh Aesthetics in Downtown Delray, about two years ago. I currently get Jeuveau just around my eyes. Nothing in my forehead and nothing between the brows, at least for now. My injector is very conservative and focused on enhancing, never overdoing, which I really appreciate. Results vary for everyone, but for me, it works really well to soften the lines around my eyes without freezing my expression in any way, and lasts about 4-5 months.

I recently went for my regular visit, and we mapped out my appointments for the rest of the year so they’re timed perfectly before my bachelorette trip and again before the wedding.

I also see Hillary for laser hair removal, which has been a total game-changer. I have coarse, dark hair and used to shave my legs daily, only to see stubble by the next morning. Now most of the hair is gone or so fine it’s barely noticeable, with just the occasional maintenance touch-up needed.

The last thing I want to worry about during my bachelorette trip or wedding weekend is shaving. Being proactive about laser hair removal and injectables now will make everything feel much more seamless later.

Where to find Simply Posh Aesthetics: 343 NE 3rd Avenue in Delray Beach.

Peaceful Body Spa

Keep up with facials in the months before your wedding. Make sure to talk with your esthetician about timing, especially if you’re considering a chemical peel or other intensive treatment.

Keeping your skin at its best requires proper care, and that’s where Peaceful Body Spa comes in. This Delray Beach spa is my go-to for facials. Owner Stacy Norman has created such a calming, beautiful oasis, offering everything from classic facials and massages to Reiki, Ashiatsu massage, back facials, and more.

I’ve been coming here for years and truly love the team of licensed estheticians. The Signature Peaceful Body Spa Facial is what I get when I want to relax and refresh with all the essentials. If I’m looking for something more targeted or want to add dermaplaning, I book the Custom Signature Facial, where the treatment is tailored to whatever my skin needs that day.

What I appreciate most is the team’s knowledge and support. They’re always happy to recommend skincare products for your home routine, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to keep your skin consistent leading up to a special occasion.

Getting regular facials is nothing new for me. Skincare has always been something I prioritize. I try my best to schedule one every other month to keep my skin balanced, hydrated, and on track.

This year, though, I’m being even more intentional. With all of my bridal moments coming up, I’m spacing out my facial appointments strategically so my skin is glowing at all the right times. We’re talking hydration boosts, targeted treatments to support my skin barrier, and exfoliation and dermaplaning so makeup and skincare products apply flawlessly.

When it comes to bridal beauty, you can’t leave things to the last minute. It’s about building over time. Consistency is key! That means strategic planning, so my skin looks just as radiant in person as in photos.

Where to find Peaceful Body Spa: 205 NE 5th Terrace in Delray Beach.

The Tox Delray

Incorporate body sculpting and lymphatic drainage treatments in the weeks before big events to help reduce bloating and inflammation.

Last, but certainly not least, the number one thing we all want to avoid during special moments: bloat and its discomfort!

Feeling sluggish or bloated on my wedding day? Not happening. Not for dress shopping, not for fittings, not for my bachelorette, and definitely not for our celebration weekend.

Toward the end of 2024, a new spot opened in Delray that completely changed the game for me. The Tox Delray specializes in The Tox Technique®️, which is “a transformative approach to wellness, blending body contouring modalities with proprietary methods to de-bloat and redefine.” Think deep tissue massage meets body sculpting meets lymphatic drainage. In my opinion, it is truly one of the most effective body treatments I’ve tried for reducing my inflammation and helping me feel less bloated.

It’s a franchise with locations all over the country, and I was so excited when one opened in Downtown Delray. The Delray location is owned by local Kerry Coyle, whom I met years ago during Delray Fashion Week. She invited me when the store first opened, and I was hooked after my first session! I’ve been going regularly ever since. Every session is 60 (or 90) minutes of total bliss. I walk out feeling noticeably lighter, and that feeling usually lasts for several days.

While results vary for everyone, it has become a staple in my wellness routine. Up until now, I’ve been going every few months. As we get closer to the wedding, I plan to time my appointments around key moments like dress shopping, my bachelorette trip, and of course, the day before the wedding. They also offer sculpting facials, which is absolutely on my pre-wedding agenda.

Where to find The Tox Delray: 47 SE 5th Avenue, Suite 4 in Delray Beach.
To book an appointment: Call 561-777-2052 or book online. You can also find The Tox on the Mind Body app.
