Would you believe two years have gone by since I started this blog? This year was definitely jam-packed with bloggy things, and I feel like I have grown and learned so much. I really have to thank all of the bloggers who I’ve met (virtually) and all of the blogger communities I’ve become a part of – Sunday Supper, especially. This is one of the most amazing groups of people and I am so grateful to be associated with such a meaningful movement. I look forward to seeing the different themes for each week, and I actually enjoying wracking my brain to come up with the perfect recipe to go along with them. I love reading through everyone’s posts come Sunday and seeing all of the creative recipes everyone comes up with. I even got to participate in my very first Weekday Supper this week and later this month I’ll be interviewed as a the “Friday Featured” Sunday Supper blogger!
There was also a stint as a culinary judge at Flavors of Boca, another successful Boca Bacchanal Grand Tasting, the Miami South Beach Culinary Tour, the Boca Wine and Food Festival, lots and lots of amazing meals at restaurants all over South Florida, and of course tons of trials in the kitchen. It’s been quite a busy year, and I loved every second of it.
Anyway, today I am celebrating. Actually, today I’m going away for the weekend on a camping trip. So I’m celebrating my blog turning two out in the wilderness, in a tent, making and eating lots of s’mores and other goodies. I was totally planning on making you some Birthday Cake Fudge to celebrate my birthday, but it was a complete fail. I will perfect it though, and when I do, it’ll be here for you to see.
For now, let’s all just pretend we’re eating delicious fudge and singing Happy Birthday to Take A Bite Out of Boca. Thank you to everyone who reads, tries out recipes, and keeps me motivated everyday to continue on this amazing culinary journey.
