Today marks my THIRD year living in Florida. I can’t believe how fast time as flown by. It’s incredible how much I have accomplished in the small amount of time I’ve been down here, especially how much Take A Bite Out of Boca has grown! As I enter my third year as a Florida resident, I am realizing the importance of good relationships with friends, family, and most important, the relationship you have with yourself.

I had these delicious Bourbon-Maple sweet potatoes as one of my sides. Ben doesn’t normally like sweet potatoes (which is one reason I ordered them!- kidding!) but he inhaled these babies. I decided to try to recreate the sweet potato recipe for our Thanksgiving meal and they were pretty spot-on.
