This inaugural festival is making waves next month, as the City of Boca Raton is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its Centennial this year!

The City of Boca Raton Seafood Festival will be on Saturday, March 22nd from 12-6 pm at the Mizner Park Amphitheater in Downtown Boca. Expect a mouthwatering lineup of fresh and delicious seafood, live entertainment, and nautical-themed activities to embrace Boca Raton’s vibrant coastal culture.

Boca Raton Seafood Festival tickets are $10 in advance, and $15 at the door. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from various vendors once inside the amphitheater.

What to Expect at the City of Boca Raton Seafood Festival

The City of Boca Raton Seafood Festival promises plenty of fun things to do for all ages.

Live music will take place on the Seafood Stage. The lineup features local bands, The Holidazed, Vern Daysel and the Burning Breeze, and UnRavel. There will also be Neptune’s Marketplace with lots of on-theme gifts and goodies to take home. Gumbo Limbo Nature Center will be on-site with a family-friendly activation, Luna’s Fun Zone, with marine life education, games and crafts, and an opportunity to meet the center’s mascot, Luna.

But the real star of this seafood festival is, of course, the seafood! From conch fritters to crab legs, the Claw-some Food Vendors will serve up a variety of seafood favorites that will keep you feeling full and happy. And of course, you know there will be drinks to wash it all down!

If you’re feeling extra hungry, join in on the Crab Cake Challenge! Eight contestants can sign up to compete against each other to see how quickly they can take down a stack of crab cakes. Look for the City of Boca Raton tent at the event to sign up on-site!

The day’s competitions don’t end there, though. Three Boca Raton restaurant chefs will participate in a Seafood Showdown, cooking their way to victory! Contestants include Julian Bernal from Corvina Seafood Grill, Kevin Avellaneda from Penelope New Orleans Kitchen, and Yora Chan from Loch Bar.

Both Penelope and Loch Bar are located in Mizner Park, and Corvina is in Royal Palm Place, just a few minutes south of Mizner. All three restaurants are well known for their seafood-centric menus, and I cannot wait to see what their chefs bring to the table!

Food, entertainment, a beautiful outdoor venue, and hopefully some gorgeous spring weather… What more could you ask for?

Make sure to mark your calendar for the City of Boca Raton Seafood Festival coming up on March 22nd! More information can be found here. I hope to see you there!

Looking For More in Mizner Park?

Mizner Park, Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca raton Seafood Festival

Mizner Park is such a central part of the Boca community, especially when it comes to dining, shopping, and events in Boca Raton. The Brightline Boca is within walking distance, so Florida residents in Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and even Orlando can travel to and from with ease. Some of my favorite restaurants can be found here too. I’ve been a fan of Max’s Grille since I was a little girl, and I just love the Kapow menu. There are some great shops too, such as Tommy Bahama and Kendra Scott!

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is also located within Mizner Park. So whether you’re looking for art in Boca Raton, want to grab a meal, or do some retail therapy, this plaza has it all.
