Plan Your Travel with Brightline Boca

With Brightline Boca, you can travel effortlessly to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, Miami, and even Orlando!

Brightline Boca

Brightline is the only privately owned and operated intercity railroad in the United States. It started in 2017 as an easy connector between West Palm and Miami and has since expanded to include stops in Boca, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Orlando. I was most excited about the opening of the Boca Raton station!

But the Brightline train isn’t just about getting you to your desired Florida destination. It’s also about creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere for everyone aboard while promoting efficient and eco-friendly travel.

Brightline company culture focuses on sustainable, green travel. According to the website, “the team has planted over 3,000 native trees along our rail corridor to reduce carbon emissions further and help make the communities we serve greener, cleaner, and healthier.”

The trains run on clean biodiesel for lower emissions and help to remove 3 million cars from the road each year. When you ride on the Brightline, you can feel good about your travel!

The Top Five Benefits of Taking Brightline Boca

The Brightline stations are all about seamless travel to some of Florida’s most popular destinations.

Brightline Train

Here are the top five benefits of taking the Brightline Boca:

  1. Location: The Brightline Boca Raton station is conveniently located in Downtown Boca. It’s within walking distance of popular shopping and dining areas, Mizner Park and Royal Palm Place.

Some of my favorite restaurants in the area are super close by! Go check out the Kapow menu in Boca Raton, feast on Mediterranean cuisine at Medi Terra, or visit fast-casual Carrot Express for a healthy lunch. There is also a lot of great live music in Boca Raton Florida near the Brightline station.

In fact, most of the Brightline train stations are conveniently located. The West Palm Beach station is located downtown, footsteps from Clematis Street and CityPlace. Orlando’s is right at the airport, and the MiamiCentral station is in the center of everything.

  2. Easy Parking: Parking is super easy at Brightline Boca. Register your vehicle in advance to save time and money. It’s $10 per day when bought online, versus $15 if bought when you arrive at the station. Simply add parking at checkout when purchasing your train tickets online. Find a spot and walk right into the station with ease!

The Boca Raton train station is small, and the parking garage is right next to it. So it doesn’t take much time at all between getting out of your car and boarding your train.

  3. Amenities: Inside the station, you’ll find the MRKT with snacks, prepared foods, and non-alcoholic beverages. PREMIUM ticket holders have access to complimentary snacks, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages at the in-station lounge.

Free high-speed WiFi is available in the station and on board, as well as charging outlets at every seat. There is a menu of food and beverages available for purchase for SMART ticket holders, while PREMIUM ticket holders can continue to enjoy complimentary food and beverages throughout the ride.

  4. Seamless Booking: Download the Brightline app to book your train service and scan your ticket barcode at the touchless turnstiles upon arrival. The app makes managing your trip easy. Save your seat preferences, upgrade your tickets, explore other station amenities, and more.

Check Brightline schedule and prices on the app. It is highly recommended to book your trains in advance.

You can also book Uber rides to and from the station. PREMIUM ticket holders even get a $10 Uber voucher with the new Brightline+ service. With your trip itinerary all in one place, travel is that much simpler!

  5. Destinations: South Florida travel to West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale in less than an hour! Aventura and Miami are slightly over an hour-long ride. Orlando is a little under 3 hours, which is much better than driving there!

Brightline continues to announce future connections in Florida, including Stuart and Cocoa. There are even plans to open the service to the other side of the country with Brightline West. This will connect Las Vegas and Southern California with the first true high-speed passenger rail system in the nation. More information on the Brightline expansion can be found here.

I have traveled on the Brightline Boca to Miami and Orlando and loved each experience. I’m sure I will go from Boca Raton to Palm Beach at some point soon too! The seats are roomy and comfortable, with outlets for your devices and plenty of legroom. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. There is plenty of overhead space for luggage too.

My favorite Brightline experience was when I took the Brightline Boca Raton to Miami to film an episode of my podcast at Amara at Paraiso with its owner, James Beard award-winning chef, Michael Schwartz. I also enjoyed the most delicious meal at the restaurant, overlooking the Biscayne Bay. Talk about lunch with a view!

Brightline Boca Raton to Miami

This high speed train makes traveling to and from these Florida destinations so much easier. No one wants to sit in traffic driving to Miami, and that 3+ hour drive to Orlando from Boca is just plain boring.

Visiting these areas is a breeze with the Boca Raton Brightline station at your fingertips.
