Plan Your Girls Night with Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur

Tequila Rose is the original strawberry cream liqueur, taking over girls nights everywhere with its bold, sweet flavor. It’s a perfectly pink upscale cocktail or dessert option for happy hours, bridal showers, brunches, and more!

The Colony Palm Beach

Tequila Rose is a unique liqueur on the market for 20 years! It’s the first drink of its kind to pair cream with anything other than Irish whiskey and paved the way for other products in this category like Baileys Strawberry and Cream liqueur. This best-selling strawberry cream liqueur is best served as a chilled shot. It would also be delicious over ice, mixed into a cocktail or adult milkshake, added to coffee, frozen as a boozy pop, or baked into a yummy sweet treat.

While this strawberry cream liqueur finds purpose in your glass, there is also purpose for its sleek bottle design. The reason for the bold black glass is to shield the liqueur from outside light. This helps to maintain the integrity of the flavor and freshness of the drink. The eye-catching shimmering silver roses and bright pink strawberries make the bottle stand out on the shelves among a sea of other liqueurs. It’s surely a head-turner!

Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur

The brand hosted a Girls Night Out happy hour at The Colony Hotel on Palm Beach Island. Could there be a better location for an event featuring pink cream liqueur?! I think not.

We sipped on Tequila Rose cocktails and rosé wine, noshed on delicious bites courtesy of the hotel, and took lots and lots of photos. I had a blast hanging out with friends and meeting new people, especially the Tequila Rose team. Shout out to Audrey for organizing an amazing event, and inviting me to join!

Side note: For those of you who have been following for a while and know that I don’t consume cow’s milk dairy, you’re probably a little confused. Yes, Tequila Rose contains cream. I do have a sensitivity to certain types of dairy, but tasting a small amount does not affect me. I took a couple of sips of this beverage, and can 100% confirm its deliciousness, but I did not and would not drink an entire glass.

Tips for Hosting Girls Night with Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur

If you’re planning a girls night, Tequila Rose should have a place on the guest list. All your girlies will thank you!

Here are some top tips for hosting your next girls night with Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur:

  1. Plan a pink theme. Choosing a theme makes the night feel extra special. It makes picking out your outfit much easier too. Go all out with your pink to match the tequila rose liqueur. Whether it’s a simple pop or head-to-toe pink, encourage everyone invited to dress accordingly. Enhance the ambiance with pink lights, table decorations, and party favors.

  2. Add an activity. Activities are the heart and soul of a girls night. Make it a chick flick movie night, or board game night. Organize a fun craft project like making jewelry, painting, or creating vision boards. Another great idea is a spa night. Face masks, manicures and pedicures, relaxing music… You’ll feel zen in no time!

  3. Create a photo booth. Get a pink backdrop to hang up, order photo booth props, and capture the moment! Set up a ring light so everyone can simply attach their phones and snap away. Girls night is all about making memories. Taking lots of photos allows you to be able to look back and reminisce.

  4. Plan the cocktail menu. Of course, Tequila Rose tastes perfectly delicious on its own, but you can make so many yummy cocktails with this strawberry cream liqueur too. Create a menu for your guests to choose from throughout the night. Hire a bartender to make the drinks for you. You could also learn how to make them together!

  5. Prepare food to pair with Tequila Rose. You could take the theme even further and make pink(ish) food to serve. First and foremost, strawberries have to be involved! Start with a cheese and charcuterie board — a must for any girls night. For the pink element, add strawberry jam, sliced strawberries, or dried cranberries.

Make a beet salad, or a puree to mix into hummus and deviled egg filling for a fun pink effect. My gluten and dairy-free crab cakes aren’t pink, but they are always a hit! Create some kind of pink sauce to drizzle over top or for dipping.

You could also put together a dessert board with pink sweets. Think strawberry yogurt-covered pretzels, pink macarons, and other cookies with pink frosting, pink candies, etc. If you plan this around Valentine’s Day, you’re bound to find plenty of pink selections.

However you choose to enjoy your Tequila Rose strawberry cream liqueur, share the love and enjoy it well!
